- What dumpster sizes do you offer?
A-1 Dumpsters & Hauling offers the following roll-off dumpster container options (measured in cubic yards):
- 10-yard dumpster: Designed for small residential or commercial cleanouts.
- 15-yard dumpster: Four or five pickup trucks’ worth of solid waste, making it perfect for smaller construction projects
- 20-yard dumpster: Six pickup truck loads’ worth of demolition waste
- 30-yard dumpster: Nine pickup trucks’ worth of construction debris
- 40-yard dumpster: Our biggest trash containers can hold as much waste as 12 pickup trucks. If your job site produces a high volume of waste, ask us about pricing for a large dumpster rental.
- What size dumpster do I need?
To choose from our 10-Yard, 15-Yard, 20-Yard, 30-Yard or 40-Yard Dumpster, consider the following information. 1 cubic yard is equal to approximately:
27 cubic feet
Nine wheelbarrow loads
Small pick-up truck loadL x W x H (feet) ÷ 27 = Cubic Yards

- What is a roll-off dumpster?
A roll-off dumpster is a rectangular, open-top container. Large volumes of heavy trash and junk are easier to remove with the help of a roll-off dumpster. A-1 Dumpsters & Hauling can provide residential and commercial customers in the Columbus area with heavy-duty dumpsters to support big projects.
Dumpsters are available in four sizes, from 15 to 40 yards, with varying weight limits. Rentals can be scheduled for both short-term and long-term periods.
We’ll work with you to schedule the proper dumpster size and pick-up schedule to meet your project’s needs.
- How do I order a dumpster?

- What can go in a roll-off dumpster rental?
Dumpster rentals are convenient for non-hazardous materials including, but not limited to:
- Packaging
- Yard waste (including branches and leaves)
- Mattresses
- Toys
- Cloth
- Furniture (wooden, metal, or PVC)
- Cabinetry
- Paper
- Metal
- Carpeting and other flooring
- Hardware and fixtures (such as lights and sinks)
- Siding
- Drywall
- Roofing shingles
- Construction debris

- What cannot go in a roll-off dumpster?
While our roll-off containers can handle many different materials, it’s important to remember that hazardous waste items cannot go to the landfill.
The following materials are not allowed in a dumpster:
- Flammable material, such as propane tanks, gasoline, oil, fuel, or other chemicals
- Batteries
- Herbicides, insecticides, and pesticides
- Industrial drums
- Paints, solvents, stains, and varnishes
- CFL light bulbs and fluorescent lights
- Thermostats and thermometers
- Asbestos
- Corrosive materials, such as sulfuric acid
- Electronic waste
